The duty officer of Otwock on the night of Friday to Saturday (16/17 May) received a report about an aggressive adventurous man at the emergency room in one of the hospitals in Otwock. The man was aggressive towards medical staff and destroyed the reception. The policemen went to the place and stopped an aggressive 56-year-old.

Hospital employees made a notification in which they described like a 56-year-old, appeared in the hospital and sought help in dressing the wound of his leg. After a while, the man began to behave aggressively, until the aggression increased with every moment, until he began to threaten medical staff with death and demolish the reception

A recording appeared on the network, which shows how an aggressive patient demolishes the emergency room. « I asked for help » – the man yells after he arranged a demolition there. The staff repeatedly asks him to calm down. Rescuers could not master him, so they called the police. The aggressor, freezed by alcohol, stumbled over the chair and turned over to the ground.

Policemen detained a 56-year-old. He was transported to the command and examined to alcohol content in the body. The study showed over a promil of alcohol. Podkom. Domarecki explained that the detained man is well known to Otwock policemen because of his « rich » criminal past. The 56-year-old was listed for both crimes against property, health and life.
Allegations for an aggressive patient from Otwock
The man heard a total of seven allegations, including directing punishable threats, destruction of property, violation of the physical integrity of the doctor and insulting medical staff. In addition, the 56-year-old was already convicted of similar crimes and will be responsible for recidivism. The District Court in Otwock accepted the prosecutor’s request and issued a decision to arrest a 56-year-old for three months. The aggressor threatens up to 7.5 years behind bars.
– Thanks to excellent cooperation between the Otwock police and the prosecutor’s office, it was possible to effectively isolate a man constituting a real threat to the safety of citizens – adds the Commissioner Domaradzki from the police in Otwock.
