The arrest of the mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu, has been extended. He must wait for his trial from prison. A Turkish court decided this on Sunday morning, reporting international press agencies. The Turkish Public Prosecution Service requested the court to extend its provisional detention.
