Legendary British rock bands Queen The soloist Freddie Mercury’s biography revealed a surprising fact – the musician has had a daughter, whose existence has not been known to the general public. In the new biography Love, Freddiewritten by journalist and writer Leslie Anna Jones, it was discovered that in 1976, Mercury was secretly becoming the father of the girl whose mother was his close friend’s wife.

The daughter, known as B in the biography, is currently 48 and is living in Europe while working in the medical industry. According to the book, Mercury has not abandoned responsibility and has been a close but private bond with his daughter for life. He has entrusted her even his 17 diaries describing his life from childhood in Zanzibar to the last years of life.

Only a very narrow musician’s closest circle of musician, including family, band members and his girlfriend Mary Austin, knew about existing. The daughter has not sought fame or public recognition and has not requested the status of the heir publicly – the inheritance was granted privately, outside the will. This discovery impresses both the fans and the world of music, illuminating the unknown side of the rock star’s life.
