Košice. Two fatal accidents within two months. Such is the balance on the motorway feeder towards Košice from Prešov in the section called the Green Court.

On Thursday, a 61-year-old pedestrian died there, running through a busy four-lane road. In addition, a seven -year -old pedestrian was injured in the morning crash with Mercedes, who accompanied the older woman. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

In early March, the car collided there and died a 26-year-old man. The driver escaped from the accident site. It is still not known who it was.

This was confirmed by the current information from the police. « So far, no person has been charged in the matter. The investigator is working with several criminalist versions, the offender has not yet been found, » informs Košice police spokeswoman Jana Mésarová.

He continues that the police are actively acting. The investigator initiated a criminal prosecution for the offense of killing and for the crime of not providing assistance.

The police have repeatedly said that the speed in the section would not reduce to 90 kilometers per hour.
