On the first business day after The call of the leader of « MRF New Beginning » Delyan Peevski to the mayors to restrict the movement of the trotnette, representatives of the local authorities close to the political formation, looked at the problem.

On May 5, Peevski insisted on new laws on the topic and stated that « all mayors and municipal councils should adopt adequately amendments to the law municipal normative acts, fulfilling the requirement for movement with trotts in the settlements ». Today, immediately after the festive May 6, the Facebook group « MRF New Beginning » informs about at least 10 municipalities, in which today the movement of trotnettes in pedestrian zones is prohibited. BTA also informs such mayoral prohibitions today.

Helmets become a must for the trotnette in Italy

The mayoral orders show that the ban applies not only to electric drones (which are capable of developing high speeds), but also to the driven mechanically as well as the bicycles. Mayors prohibit the driving of trotnettes on the sidewalks, in pedestrian areas, in parks and gardens, but do not introduce restrictions on traffic on the lane. It follows from some of the strictest commandments that young children will not be able to ride bicycles and drones in city parks. At the same time, few of the mayors have included in the orders the requirement for the driving of the wheels and the trotts to be only a helmet.

As of today, such a ban is operating in Jebel, Kaolinovo, Kubrat, Antonovo, Omurtag, Sarnitsa, Yakoruda, Chernoochene, Stambolovo, Loznitsa, Belitsa, Gurkovo, Opaka.

For control, the local government relies on the police.
