One Belgian will transfer to semi -final for the queen Elisabeth competition piano

Those 24 candidates will compete from 12 to 17 May in Cultuurcentrum Flagey in Ixelles for a final place. The audience belongs to each session four different semi -finalists. The first two perform a Mozart concerto. They are accompanied by the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie led by Vahan Mardirossian. After the break, two other pianists present their recitals, consisting of works of their choice and the compulsory unpublished work, ‘Two Studies for Piano’, written especially for this session by the Canadian composer Ana Sokolović.
