On Thursday, members of the SDS elect President
Prior to the May Day holidays, applications for SDS president expired. How many are, they are not officially disclosed in the party, as they will be confirmed today by the party’s executive committee. Unofficially, only one is talked about. But even if there were more, party interlocutors do not leave any doubt that Janez Janša led the party for the next four years. Ever since 1993, he has not known internal competition.
This will be his tenth term. This time, however, he will be elected for the first time under the new system. In the SDS, after the amendment of the Statute of the President, for the first time, all members of the party will be voted in directly and secretly at election municipal conferences, which were convened by the Executive Board for Thursday for 6pm. In accordance with the statute, they must take place no later than 15 days before the congress, which will be held on May 24 in Ormož and to declare the percentage of the members of the members of Janez Janša.

He is expected to collect the team for her, and has been announcing for a long time what measures to take. How convincing he is in this, however, he – as he claims – is supposed to show him a referendum on the addition to pensions for outstanding artistic achievements. He was also officially joined by the NSi in the campaign and the non -parliamentary SLS and Focus, which could potentially compose its coalition, but only if they cross the parliamentary threshold. Therefore, Janša had already called for them to connect if opinion polls would not indicate the possibility of an independent breakthrough.
Anze Logar, A former longtime member of the SDS, who was probably also particularly tactically hinting at being ready to take the party mutual agreement, still hopes with his Democrats at least for now that he could put together a party through a political pole.
