On the occasion of Kaunas birthday, the city was greeted by wind instrument orchestras

On the first day, the Air Force Orchestra marched, and the next day the citizens were delighted by the Kaunas Band Orchestra « Ąžuolynas ». On Friday, another orchestra march was held in Laisvės Alley, with joyful music that greeting passers -by from Kaunas St. Archangel Michael (Crew) Church to the Historical Presidency, in some places, stopped by the sounds of music as if they were delayed by tribute to Kaunas residents.

The Bandfest Kaunas 2025 Festival has already become a beautiful tradition when wind instruments, accompanied by rhythmic dance and good mood, sound in the main streets of the city.

The festival of the festival is a festival « Let’s Room for Kaunas » since 2002, the initiator of which was the Kaunas Wind Orchestra « Oak ». This year’s Bandfest Kaunas 2025 Festival program included not only the march on the central streets of Kaunas, but also the morning awakening of the townspeople and the sacred music program. Nine professional and youth wind orchestras, dancers, two choirs on the eve of Kaunas birthday certainly created a special festive mood for the townspeople and guests, as all the performances of the wind orchestras were accompanied by passers -by with smiles and applause.
