On the Legion of Honor, Jordan Bardella’s bogus argument to defend Nicolas Sarkozy – Liberation

Fallen from his Legion of Honor, Nicolas Sarkozy benefits from weight support. Really the top of the crab basket defends the former fallen president. This legend is really very pretty. Except that this legend is completely phony. The Legion of Honor was given to Sarkozy in 2005 – twelve years after taking hostage. The teacher Laurence Dreyfus and Evelyne Lambert, a captain of the Paris firefighters, received the Legion of honor from the hands of François Mitterrand shortly after taking hostages. And as they were obviously not sentenced to prison, they still have it. Sarkozy’s role in taking hostages has been strongly criticized by certain protagonists afterwards.
