It was supposed to be a family celebration and ended with bloodshed. A birthday party of two sisters took place in the apartment in Zatorz, which – despite the difference in the age of four – were born the same day. Their partners also participated in the meeting.
As a person who knows the course of events reports, the evening passed calmly. During the joint celebration, the participants drank some alcohol. It was supposed to be one bottle for four people. There was no indication that the meeting would turn into a quarrel using a dangerous tool. However, this happened. When saying goodbye in the hallway, Oleksander S. (36 years old) was to unexpectedly attack Edward’s knife (39 years old), asking him two blows on his neck and one in the shoulder blade.

The injured Edward was serious, but thanks to rapid medical help, his life was saved. Meanwhile, Oleksander S. and his partner escaped from the scene. The police published monitoring photos, asking for help in finding them. The couple quickly gained the nickname « Bonnie and Clyde from Olsztyn » in local media. Their escape ended, however, not in dramatic circumstances as in the famous film, but during … attempts to steal shop. It was then that they were detained by bodyguards.
Allegations for attempted murder
Oleksandr S. heard the allegation of attempted murder. According to prosecutor Daniel Brodowski, the suspect pleaded guilty. -On June 7, 2025, in Olsztyn Zaton, the suspect dealt three blows to his 39-year-old friend, two of whom were aimed at the neck. The injuries were serious, and the life of the victim managed to save only thanks to the quick intervention of doctors. The suspect confessed to the alleged act – explained prosecutor Brodowski.
For attempted the murder of Oleksandr S. there is a penalty of at least 10 years imprisonment and a maximum of life imprisonment. The court decided to arrest him for three months. A woman is a witness in this matter.
