Ojo filed charges of attempted murder
Following the investigation, the Public Prosecutor of the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Skopje filed an indictment against one person for the crime -sturdy referred to in Article 123 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 19 (in an attempt) of the Criminal Code.
Regarding the same event, an indictment has been filed against another person for – assisting the perpetrator after a crime under Article 365 paragraph 2 in relation to paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
The defendant 37-year-old, due to unclear previous debt-trust relations, on 10.12.2024 in the village of Mirkovci, intent he attempted to deprive one person, the Public Prosecutor's Office said today.
According to a statement, the two defendants came in front of the victim's father's house with a taxi and called on the damaged to come out. When he appeared at the front door, the first defendant pulled out a gun and fired a missile directly to the injured party. He noticed the weapon on time and immediately pulled behind the door that was automatically locked, and the bullet ended up in the wall, next to the front door frame. The defendant began knocking and striking the door to the door, trying to enter the house forcibly, but failed, after which the two defends. The second defendant, to help the first defendant after the crime, took the gun. On 23.12.2024, he committed a crime with the same gun – causing a general danger for which he was sentenced to 22.01.2025 on the basis of guilt – the prosecution said.
The competent public prosecutor, together with the indictment, also filed a proposal to extend the previously determined detention for the first defendant. The second indictment, on the other hand, is in custody until the verdict is valid for causing the general danger imposed on him.
