Officially confirmed/Investigators of the National Investigation Bureau have been attacked while performing duty in Fier Region

What happened to BKH investigators yesterday is an alarm for the state, but also for Albanian society. SPAK and BKH are doing heroic and titanic work to punish crime and corruption, so they must be observed not only legally but also morally by society.

Inconceivable how they dared to offend and no longer attack BKH investigators.

Investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation have been attacked while performing duty in Fier District.

The National Bureau of Investigation confirms the attack that occurred on the evening of April 15 against investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation and State Police officers in the district of Fier.

BKH investigators and State Police officers were conducting delegated investigative duties in the context of an investigation of the special structure against corruption and organized crime.

Based on the information forwarded by the Local Police Directorate, Fier (DVP) and the verifications carried out, the event happened around 7:20 minutes on the Fier – Patos axis. While BKH investigators and State Police officers were performing their office, have been attacked without any motive by persons already identified and accompanied by DVP, Fier.

All investigative and procedural actions regarding the event are being carried out by the General Jurisdiction Prosecutor’s Office, Fier.

SPAK points out that all actions taken by the BKH are in accordance with the law and under the direct observation of special prosecutors.

The SPAK calls on citizens to cooperate with justice institutions and respect the authority of investigators and the State Police acting in their duty. The integrity and safety of BKH investigators and state police officers is essential in our commitment to fight corruption and organized crime.
