Official visit to Azerbaijan from the EMU delegation – Cyprus Newspaper
A group of senior officials in EMU made an official visit to Azerbaijan.
President of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Foundation Managers (VYK) President Erdal Özcenk, Rector of EMU Dr. Hasan Kılıç and EMU VYK member Anıl Kaya made an official visit to Azerbaijan.
The visit was held within the scope of the introduction of Northern Cyprus and Northern Cyprus universities, which came up during the negotiations of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Ersin Tatar of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Antalya last month.
Turkey-European Parliamentary Friendship Group President and Istanbul Deputy Shamil Dispartner and Turkey-North Cyprus Friendship Group President Orhan Erdem, including the delegation, within the scope of the visit, various universities in Azerbaijan and academic and institutional collaborations made contacts for the development of.
With the visit, it was aimed to evaluate cooperation opportunities in various fields, especially education, research and student exchange programs in EMU and Azerbaijan, and to strengthen existing relations. The delegation, who met with educational institutions and senior executives in Azerbaijan, exchanged views on mutual projects, joint academic studies and cultural interaction opportunities.
The visit is expected to make significant contributions to the vision of internationalization of EMU and prepare the ground for stronger ties with the universities in Azerbaijan.
