Nursing home in the air route area

« We are very excited for this area and believe that there will be good people, » says Guðni Aðalsteinsson, CEO of the real estate company Reita.

Fields are now in the final meters when preparing to change Icelandair’s former office space in the Loftleid area at Nauthólsveg in a nursing home.

As stated in Morgunblaðið last November, Reitir has introduced the development and diverse structure of the so -called quality of life in the area in question, which signed a letter of intent to that effect earlier last year.

In addition to nursing homes, Reitir has also formulated ideas for housing development in this area for about 120 apartments, a combination of service apartments and general rental apartments. The service core would include grocery and health -related activities.

Guðni says that the nursing home in question will be large and magnificent. The building is over six thousand square meters in size.

« In the home, about 90 rooms are expected and the house is well suited. The location is excellent, the access as well as the house is enough parking that has become rare nowadays. »

The discussion can be read in its entirety in Morgunblaðið today.
