Now she reveals a side effect that no one is talking about

Marianne initially mourned her father’s death and felt both physically and emotionally exhausted when she decided that her life had to change.

« I’ve tried everything – all diets, all dirt roads, and even a gastric balloon. When I started at Mounjaro, I was ashamed. I didn’t want people to think I had cheated, » she said, according to Daily Record.

Marianne was afraid of failing again, so she chose to take Mounjaro as a medical help. Now she has lost 38 kg and she is no longer silent about how she did it.

Marianne now looks at weight loss medicine as medical treatments – not as vanity. She pointed out that people are not being embarrassed to use insulin or inhalers.

« Why should this be different? » she asked, adding, « It’s the stigma that holds people tight. »

She explained that this ‘is not an easy solution’ and that Mounjaro ‘is just one tool’ and that you have to ‘still show up, do the work and all from the inside out’.

« You owe no one an explanation. You may want to do it quiet. You may want to get help. Don’t let shame get in the way of your freedom, » she said.

Marianne, who lives in West Lothian in Scotland, has stated that Mounjaro has ‘completely transformed’ her life – and her relationship with food, which in particular applies to the constant ‘food noise’ in the head.

She described it as an inner radio that constantly asked questions like, ‘What should I eat next time? Should i eat it? What’s wrong with me? ‘. She felt that food had control over her brain and it was exhausting.

Not only did Mounjaro help with appetite as the medicine also muted the chaos in her head. She said her real transformation was deeper than the diet – and it was a welcome side effect.

« For the first time, I had room to think about what matters. I could feel hunger and satiety again instead of guilt and chaos, » she explained.

« The biggest change wasn’t physical but emotional. I’ve learned to love my body – also with its mistakes. I’ve stopped apologizing for filling something. »

At her father’s funeral, she was overwhelmed by grief. She had lost weight, but used to eat to eat the pain.

« It used to be a trigger. I ate to anesthetize. But I didn’t. I allowed myself to feel it. It was a breakthrough. I proved to myself that I could handle the pain without food, » she said.

She is now in the maintenance phase and fears that the weight will come back but is working to deal with her anxiety.

« I didn’t do it for others. I did it for myself, » she said.

« Mounjaro gave me air to build habits, routines and emotional tools that keep me running. »

Marianne documents her life at Tiktok under the name @mariannewellness, where she has built a supportive community. She talks openly about self -esteem and the challenges she has overcome. She says messages from followers often bring her to tears.

Although she works in the financial sector, she spends the rest of her time coaching women in breaking patterns with emotional eating and self -sabotage.

« I’ve always been attracted to coaching and mentoring. But it was through my own journey that I found my true meaning. I want to help women feel at home in their bodies, » she said.

« Women write to me and say, ‘I thought I was the only one who had it that way.
