Now he’s out with the rivet against his supporters
Alliances can be fragile – especially when numbers start to turn.
At least that is the case of the Donald Trump relationship and the otherwise loyal news channel Fox News, which for many years has served as an echo of the president’s messages.
Now, however, there is a crunch in the conservative connection.
Fox News has published A new pollwhere only 44 percent of Americans say they support Donald Trump as president. As much as 55 percent express the opposite. These are figures that would be remarkable in itself – but when they come from just Fox, they have received extra attention.
The survey is stirring in the Republican hinterland, not least with Trump himself, who has reacted violently.
On his platform Truth Social, he longs for both the investigation and the media house’s top manager Rupert Murdoch, whom he accuses of allowing « Trump-hating » trends to flourish in his ranks.
The investigation also dives into Trump’s political areas. When asked about border control, he gets support from 55 percent – but if you look at his handling of customs and inflation, only 33 percent agree with the line. It has provided substance for reflection, even in Fox News’ own studies.
