Northern Cyprus Sailing and Maritime Festival begins at Kyrenia Marina – Cyprus Newspaper
This exciting festival, organized in cooperation with Kyrenia Marina, Mediterranean Sailing Club and Northern Cyprus Sailing Federation, will carry the enthusiasm of sea and sailing sports to Northern Cyprus until June 22, 2025.
The festival will host a wide range of events that appeal to sailors of all ages.
The optimist races and Ilca 4 races, which will determine the champions of the future, will be the scene of a great contention. Mediterranean Sailing Club of Northern Cyprus Sailing Federation, Kyrenia Alsancak Sailing Specialized Club, Kyrenia Sea Club Optimist and 4 -class races will last for 4 days.
Turkcell Monohul Sailing races, where the speed and strategy in the sea meet, will be revealed with the elegance and power of sailing yachts.
Kemer Sailing Club from Türkiye, Side Sailing Club and Mersin Sailing Club teams will participate in Turkcell Monohull Monohull Sailing races are planned to start the start of 11 sailing boats.
The festival, which does not limit the maritime spirit to sail, will also bring together fishing enthusiasts with the traditional Halil Falalı Fishing Tournament. The participants will enter a friendly competition to catch the largest fish in the fertile waters of the Mediterranean.
