North Korea has sent more soldiers to Russia / day
According to Western countries, South Korea and Ukrainian intelligence services, Pyongyang sent more than 10,000 soldiers last year to support Russian forces in the Kursk region.
The South Korean intelligence service reported in early February that North Korean soldiers who previously fought on the Russian army on the front of the Kursk region have not been involved in battles since mid -January. Ukraine also reported that North Korean soldiers had resigned due to severe losses.
However, since the first week of February, North Korean soldiers have been again located in the Kursk region, a South Korean intelligence official said. How many North Korean soldiers have been sent to Kursk is not yet clear, the official added.
Russia and North Korea have not formally approved the dispute of these soldiers, but both countries signed an agreement on mutual protection when Russian dictator Vladimir Putin visited North Korea last year.
Ukraine has announced the capture or killing of several North Korean soldiers.
The South Korean National Intelligence Service reported in mid -January that their estimates in battles in the Kursk region killed about 300 North Korean soldiers and another 2,700 injured.
