None of the agreement: Green and Trump have not signed a mineral agreement after the conflict
US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodimir Zeleni have not signed a mineral agreement on Friday, the White House official told Reuters.
The Ukrainian president left the White House on Friday after a verbal confrontation with the US president, who accused him of being ungrateful and had no respect for the US.
The White House official also announced that the newspaper conference had been canceled. At the news conference, they were supposed to sign a contract on the use of rare minerals.
Trump did not exclude the agreement, but only when Ukraine was constructively talked, said a senior American official.
It is now in the Ukrainians to see whether the joint newspaper conference of Zelenski and Trump will be held at another time, while Green is still in the US, the official added.
According to the agreement that Trump and Green should sign, Ukraine would contribute with 50 percent of « all revenues generated by the future monetization of all relevant natural resources owned by the Ukrainian Government » to the common ownership and management of the United States and Ukrajina.
The agreement did not state what the property was in question, but it stated that it would include the sites of minerals, oil, natural gas and other materials that can be removed, as well as other infrastructure such as LNG terminals and ports.
