From Sunday evening, 19 May to Friday morning 24 May, the Roads and Traffic Agency carries out repairs on the bridge of the Hoogkamerstraat over the E17 in Temse. The works take place at night, between 9 pm and 5 am, to limit traffic nuisance during the day. Nevertheless, road users will have to take closures and reduced passage into account.

During the first night, the exits Sint-Niklaas-Center and Sint-Niklaas-West are closed. In the following nights, the main road towards Ghent and towards Antwerp is alternately closed. Traffic is then led on the parallel road, where only one lane is temporarily available. A speed limit of 70 kilometers per hour applies to the site in Temse.
In the night from Friday 23 to Saturday 24 May, the cycle path at the Waasmunster exit will also be restored. That exit is then closed in the direction of Antwerp. Traffic must detour via Sint-Niklaas-West.
The works must be completed by Saturday morning. According to the AWV, there is no overlap in nuisance between the yards in Temse and Waasmunster. During the day the E17 remains fully available for through traffic.
