What? More than a million flower bulbs have planted employees in the park of the castle of Groot-Bijgaarden. You can enjoy carpets of wild flowers among age -old trees and beautiful flower beds. Be impressed by the heart of red tulips and the labyrinth in all colors of the rainbow. Bijzz without extra this year: For three weekends, Maya celebrates the at her fiftieth birthday in the park. 3. Beesty tours

4. Cuddle with lambs

What? Sheep farm De Schaapskooi opens the doors for the Lammetjesdag a week before Easter. You can not only hug lambs: there is also a demonstration of sheep floating, you can see how to spin wool and for the children there is enough edge animation.

5. Ziplins between the blossoms

What? Walking between the blossoms? What do you think of ziplins between the blossoms? In Hoeselt you can admire the flowering trees early in the spring in a very adventurous way. For an adult it costs 10 euros, for children (6-12 years) 7.50 euros. Reservations are mandatory.

6. Circulatory trick and Blossemlounge

What? Spring is blossom time. Tourism Flemish Brabant together organizes a few Hageland municipalities the Blossom campaign B (L) OEtiend Hageland. Countless activities are organized in April and May. For example, there is a covered wagon ride with Blossemlounge in Lubbeek. The covered wagon takes you through the picturesque orchards of Binkom. After the trip you can enjoy a snack and a drink in the blossom lounge, with animation of the poetic hair salon and a talented grimeur.

8. Easter search

What? Search in provincial domain Puyenbroeck for children up to 10 years old. Search for the missing colors of the Easter eggs in the basket of the Easter Bunny. Whoever finds them gets something tasty in the visitor center.

9. Get your inner Max Verstappen upstairs

What? Those who would like to go karting can go to several places in the province. On the Circuit of Goodwill Karting in Olen you get the choice in good weather: Do you want to drive in, or would you prefer to tear outside in the sun? For racing fans it is already the ideal trip.
When? The go -kart track is open from Wednesday to Sunday.

10. Walk on the brand new Planetenpad

What? Looking for a new walking route? The Planetenpad was recently opened in Kattevennen. There you will find a mix of science and nature, including an impressive scale model of our solar system and a gravity installation. From the Easter holidays, the Planetenpad can also be combined with a visit to the planetarium of the Cosmodrome.
