The presidential candidate of the Alliance ‘Romania, before’, Crin Antonescu, said on Saturday that no one, apart from him, can be considered qualified to enter the second round of the poll, not even George Simion, who is currently in the first place in polls.

« I think the hypotheses are open, no one can be considered qualified in the second or very favorite tour to enter the second round, obviously, apart from me, » said Antonescu, at a press conference in Craiova.

Asked what the candidate with whom he would be the lightest in the second round and who would be the most thorny, Antonescu replied that he has neither preferences nor evaluations.

‘Any candidate in the second round is a reducible candidate, because he has millions of votes behind him, a million and something, two million, we will see what the distribution of votes will be. And anyone has a large number of votes from Romanian citizens in the back is a redoubtable candidate, « said Antonescu.

Asked if George Simion will safely enter the second round, Crin Antonescu replied: ‘George Simion is in the first position at this time and in our polls, but I am not at all certain that George Simion will enter the second round. I am sure I will enter the second round.
