No one believes Turudic except the HDZ. But so it will be with every DORH chief elected by the HDZ
Ivan Turudic, modeled on some predecessors at the head of the DORH, launch an extensive arrest action just when a debate on the Attorney General is discussed in the Croatian Parliament.

The paradox of the opposition
However, the opposition cannot escape from one paradox: while warning that no one believes Turudic on the duty of the Attorney General, she herself undermines that trust and enhances distrust.
It seems like a self -fulfilling prophecy: spread distrust and then refer to that distrust.
However, it would be the case, that is, it will be, with every Attorney General he proposes and selects the HDZ.
Ivan Turudic only stripped of all the arguments, knocked down all the dams and increased all the doubts that bind to the HDZ’s staffing in the judiciary. What was warned before his appointment was realized in the first year of his term: from conflict with European prosecutors, through the benefit of HDZ suspects, to the arrest of opposition politicians to relativize HDZ corruption.

Yet, this is what the HDZ asks for its Attorney General and when Turudic one day goes out of duty, the HDZ, as a ruling party, will again ask its candidate the same garlic functions and the same patterns of behavior.
In fact, the HDZ with Turudic picked up a bar and founded the standard of action that had fallen at certain moments under its predecessor Gold Hrvoje Sipek.
The HDZ sets DORH bosses and they behave in accordance with the expectations of the HDZ. Ivan Turudic fits into this mold more easily than someone else, but the principle is the same.
As long as Croatia will have a problem with confidence in the Attorney General.
