No compromising materials were found

The structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, under the direction of the Prosecutor ready at the SPAK, are conducting all procedural and investigative actions for documenting a case alleged today, on 11.05.2025, in an environment on Marko Bocari Street, Tirana, where he was alleged for illegal election activities.

Around 5:50 pm, after a announcement made by Belind Kelici, representative of the Democratic Party, police services went to the alleged place and found several citizens near and within a private environment, which according to the whistleblowers functioned as an electoral office, with no identification signs for the Socialist Party.

During the search in the presence of representatives of both political entities, no compromising or unlawful materials were found in that environment. The persons present were escorted to the premises of the Police Station no. 2, where criminal statements and reports were received by both parties representative of the two political entities. The representative of the Socialist Party, Mr. Erion Brace, has reported that representatives of the Democratic Party had strengthened him and other persons with whom he was accompanied.

The investigative team is managing film footage and any other evidence in order to fully document the circumstances of the event. Investigations continue under the direction of the prosecution.

At the conclusion of procedural actions, a full notice of the results of the investigation will be given.
