NMS survey: Direction lost, voice fell beyond the republic

BRATISLAVA. After cleaning the coalition crisis, the government must cope with the dissatisfaction of entrepreneurs who started paying since April transaction tax.

The NMS survey shows that the three coalition parties have lost 1.9 percentage points in a month. On the contrary, the non -parliamentary extremist Republic grew.

The mood of the voters was investigated by the agency in the first week of April – and at the same time the first week after the transaction tax came.

The Republic moved to third place. This is the first time since the elections when one of the relevant agencies ranked the voice to the fourth place.

However, the exchange of positions with the Republic is rather symbolic. The difference between them is only seven tenths of the percentage point. If we look at intervals of reliability, they overlap. It is therefore not possible to say with certainty who would be the third and who was the fourth in the elections.

Moreover, other agencies, such as Focus and as, tend to measure the voice more than NMS, in March it was about 12 percent.

Hanes sees the fact that the Republic has gained voters, especially from Smer and still has the potential to continue to grow at the expense of Direction and Voice.

In the second half of nothing new

In fact, nothing has changed around the eligibility limit. Four parties have a chance of parliament, including Democrats, which would have 4.8 percent in April.

According to the NMS survey, the distribution of forces would not look good for the current government coalition. It could not replace the CIS in the government for the Republic. Together they would have only 70 mandates. They would need, for example, to rule KDH.

Thus, the opposition in PS, KDH, KDH could rule, SaS and Slovakia with 80 mandates.

A more stable majority of 84 mandates would still have a possible coalition PS, KDH, SaS and voice.

The situation would not have changed even if the Democrats reached parliament. A possible coalition of PS, KDH, SaS and Democrats would be difficult to compose for these numbers.
