Nisse: congestion in the door – DN.se
A friend had warned that in Amsterdam, Indonesian restaurants, which were once everywhere. So we made an attempt to find a really good and book a week in advance.
But it was already fully booked, so it was probably good for real.
However, we found two others near where we would live, so it would probably resolve. We thought.
Then we walked past them in the afternoon when we arrived, to check the situation. One turned out to be a hole in the wall for pick -up food, but the other looked promising. The gate was closed and mute, so we could not go in and book, but they opened at seven and then we could hang on the lock.
Quarter past we were there again and found A queue far out on the street. The restaurant was slap, and the tables in there dignified barrels and bowls that could not have advanced so far in just fifteen minutes from opening.
We must have seen wrong. A co -queue said they had opened at four, on the net it was some five. And just as we wondered if there was any idea to wait in such a long queue, at such a small pub, a company of five came out of the restaurant and the queue moved noticeably forward.
Then came another couple, who had actually booked. How then? Well, they had called and called and then called again. In the end, someone answered and picked up the booking.
Now they penetrated before everyone else and was let in, whereby the courage dropped a bit. Shortly thereafter, a lady from the restaurant came out and shouted for another company that had booked, without getting answers. Then the fashion rose again.
After another moment came the family Who had booked but became a quarter late. They had to stand up beautifully in the queue – and did.
Now expectations were top. So much was worth eating here that you stood and queued, the whole family with children and everything, even after booking and missing the time.
In the name of honesty, gender had decreased quite significantly by that time. Once we were let in, we had been standing for an hour, even that. And when we had received our entire table with eighteen bowls and barrels and forgot our world for a while, then only a single couple was in line for the next table.
