We are starting with an ambitious agenda, with the largest infrastructure project in the region. These are the next steps in our ambitious agenda, says Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski.

– We are talking about a single project that will cost between 1.7 to 2 billion euros and you will agree is a huge project and the largest single project implemented in Macedonia, and will be the largest individual project in the entire region in Southeast Europe. In such conditions the questions are slightly asked, and that is where you can provide this at all and I think there is no alternative. We will have the best funding conditions that Macedonia can get on the market. What is important to understand the citizen that we as Macedonia cannot bring out a project of more than 350 million euros – said Deputy Prime Minister Nikoloski in the show « Evening Show with Bogdan Ilievski ».

According to him, the most that Macedonia could indicate project funding is the Corridor Railway Project 8 The third section where we have 350 million euros, with 175m euros in credit from the EBRD and 175 EIB credit.

– Another thing for me is the most important is trust. When the other party gives credit in this case the Great Brotherhood then believes in Macedonia’s economic performance and that it will be able to repay these funds and not only that, the UK will be a guarantee for Macedonia and Macedonia will have two benefits. First, Macedonia will use the highest credit rating that is the UK and the second UK will be a joy and if Macedonia does not return from the installments, then the UK will return them to Macedonia. As soon as they estimated that we can repay such loans, they then believe in our performance and policies of this government.
