Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, who signed a strategic partnership agreement in London, expects to be ratified in Parliament in two weeks and start construction work on the field.

In an interview with MRTV, Nikoloski estimates that the agreement, in addition to financial, is also a political weight as it will strategically provide the state with a strong sacred in international processes.

« We are struggling to recognize the Macedonian language, when we strive to recognize the Macedonian national minority in the neighboring countries, when we fight for the rights of the Macedonians, when we strive to hear it loudly, then we need great partners who would help us in this process and I think the UK is one such partner. »

According to Nikoloski, the benefits of this agreement, according to Nikoloski, will feel the citizens in the coming years.

– We need to overlook that the UK puts the greatest minds available, its most valuable people to help develop Macedonia. They put expert assistance in Macedonia in all areas where we need. Experts also make available public administration but also from the business community that should help Macedonia develop and Macedonian society to a higher level. We’re talking about the second most powerful country in the world after the United States, talking about the only royal empire that survived the world, talking about nuclear power, talking about a member of the Security Council, a World War II winner country and one of the top five economies in the world so I think Macedonia can not get a better partner.

The deal was signed in London on Thursday and weighs six billion euros. The first tranche should be between 2 and 2, 2 billion euros.
