Niki dreamed of Balaton gastronomy for nails, became champion
In his certificate, the ink had barely dried, but Nikolett Kisjuhász could stand up to the top of the podium in his first race. The 30 -year -old Lajosmizse mother decided last year to learn the nail profession, and in May this year she had already brought the Hungarian championship title. This is nothing, right?

– I worked as a commodity loader, but I wanted a novelty and creative work. I liked to work in my childhood, but unfortunately it was overshadowed by becoming an adult. It simply didn’t take time. Finally, at the beginning of last year, the idea was that I would be happy to circle anyway. I haven’t even been to a salon before that Niki began with a smile on Blikk, the starting nail builder.
The young mother passed a successful exam in the fall and was on the podium two weeks later.
– I got a couple of ingredients and started pinging. The first portrait I captured Harry Potter and Voldemort with gellak, which was completed in just over 6 hours. I took a picture and uploaded it to a nail group where, to my surprise, I received a lot of positive feedback. Then came another idea. I figured out that I was building something from porcelain and I managed to bring a ballerina about 15 inches high. I uploaded this too, and people liked it. Then the organizer of one of the Hungarian competitions wrote to me that there was no fairy tale, I have to start The young talent recalled.

Niki in the II. New Hope Körmös Cup and Workshop started in three categories, finishing first in two. This gave me the right momentum, so in November he was preparing another competition in a category in which he had not previously been victorious.

The III. Alba Regia has dreamed of a Japanese garden with a diverse flora and fauna for a nail construction conference, an exhibition and a competition. In parallel from Japanese elements He also drew, such as the external features of characteristic architecture or traditional geisha and samurai culture.
– Then I thought I wanted to compete internationally. The next step led to the Hungarian Championship. This is one of the most respected domestic competitions. The topic of the planning category was Lake Balaton and its surroundings, which caused some headaches because I didn’t go there many times. But I started to win so I had to win Explained Niki, who eventually painted the Balaton gastronomy on 10 nails.
– It took a good one month before I was done, and I worked 4 hours a day. First of all, I was looking for a very old photo of Kisfaludy House. Since it was a monumental and a long -standing restaurant, I wanted to display it. In addition, live music was widespread, with real musicians, and I tried to smuggle it into the creation. The milk can and the old soda bottle also evoke older times, but the ingredients of the food have also played a major role, from the color of the ripening process to the use. This is reflected in the wheat gallows, the grapes that are glorious in beautiful colors, or the pheasant that is still adorned with its feathers. However, in serving, I was trying to follow the more modern line. I wanted to choose an iconic fish, so the perch was placed on the plate. In the background, Badacsony is visible and sailboats that provide a characteristic view The artist introduced his work.
He wouldn’t have believed he would win
Niki worked mainly with gellak, but some painting gear, chromium effect, magnetic materials and watercolors were used. The nails are 12 centimeters wide, and the longest nail is 9 centimeters high. By the way, the talented mother also ran a third place in a 3D category, claiming she could not be fully completed with her creation.
– When I saw the work of the others, I thought it was impossible to be the first. Then yet. Of course, this would never have failed if they hadn’t encouraged so much. I was amazingly touched when my role model, Mela Tamás, is a multiple Hungarian and international champion artist and international instructor. I’m definitely going to start competitions, I really found myself in this profession and wouldn’t stop!
