In three southern voivodships, grinding frosts are expected, and synoptics warn against a decrease in temperatures even to minus 3 degrees C. Experts point out that this year’s May is significantly characterized by values below the long -term level.

Tuesday turned out to be extremely warm in many places. IMGW announced that at noon at several stations 20 degrees C have already been recorded, and the highest value – 21.5 degrees – appeared in Świnoujście. The weather situation in most of the country was conducive to the sun, although in the southern regions there was greater cloudiness and there thermometers indicated lower values.

IMGW announced the first degree of alert before frosts, which applies to the southern parts of three voivodships. Experts predict that low temperatures may occur in Silesia (Żywiec poviat), Lesser Poland and Podkarpackie.
