Night control in Grajewo. 6 people detained with drugs in the bus
The incident occurred last Wednesday (May 28), just before midnight, on one of Grajewa streets. Policemen of the patrol and intervention cell detained Volkswagen for the control of six people. The behavior of the driver and passengers aroused the suspicions of officers.
Drugs in the bus
A drug test showed the presence of drugs in the body of a 35-year-old driver. In the car, bags with white powder were found, which were hidden in different places of the vehicle. In total, 22.6 grams of substance were secured, which turned out to be a mephedrone and amphetamine.
Legal consequences
All travelers by bus were detained and went to police custody. Policemen now determine the scope of responsibility of individuals. For possession of intoxicants, there is a penalty of up to 3 years imprisonment, and in the case of a significant amount – up to 10 years. Drugs to another person may result in a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
