With the musical « Maria Theresia », the United Stages want to build on the success of « Elisabeth » and « Rock Me Amadeus ». For the Dutch musical star Nienke slats in the leading role, it is a return to Vienna. Although she had to deal with the importance of the Empress for Austria.
It is the next big project of the Musical division of the United Bühnen Vienna: « Maria Theresia », the musical, celebrates its premiere in October 2025. « Rock Me Amadeus » – also a world’s performance and a great success with an occupancy rate of almost 100 percent – is replaced in the Ronacher in Vienna. And on Tuesday, director Christian Struppeck gave insights into the play and the line -up for the first time.
