Pretending to be dead, skateboarding, painting, playing basketball, overcoming obstacles – are just a small part of the tricks that P. Raziūnaitė taught her four -legged friend Kobis.

Just after starting to grow it, Paulina didn’t realize that Kobis would become a real patch of social networks, which would be written not only by the country but also by foreign media. Today, Kobis has more than 12,000 on the Instagram account. followers who are waiting for inventive and always lifting videos or photos.

When asked how Corgiuk appeared in Paulina’s life, and why the heart tends to this breed, the interlocutor claims that one of the main arguments that determined the decision was the size and character of the breed.

« For some time now, we and a friend have known that the puppy in our lives will certainly sooner or later, just waited for the right time. As we live in the apartment, we looked at the breeds of smaller height. We wanted the puppy to be smart, easy to train, fun character, energetic. We started to become different breeds. Not only did the puppies match our desired character traits, but they also fascinated their cute appearance, ”recalls P. Raziūnaitė.

With a firm decision on the breed, the search for a reliable kennel began. The girl browsed in the lists of kennels registered in Lithuania and waited for the right occasion. It didn’t take long to wait – in the kennel « Elves Legend », the Corgiukai litter was born, and one baby was just looking for the hosts.

« When the puppy was growing a little, we went to visit him. We met the breeder, saw the good conditions of the puppies growing up. We stayed very pleasantly.

I had to change myself

When Kobis arrived at home, he had to adapt not only to him but also for the hosts. The interlocutor says with a smile that in the early days, Kobis was thirsty for energy, seemingly never tired.

« In the beginning, he really had more energy than me, so I decided that I needed to change to me, but for me to adapt. It benefited me: I became physically more active, hard -working, I no longer have time to get bored, there is always a bunch of plans to do with him, » Paulina assures.

Not only do they do workouts, they also spend a lot of time together, and sometimes they go 20 km or even more a day.

« We travel everywhere together, even to shops and cafes. We spend all the holidays together. Kobis has become an integral part of our lives, » says Kaunas.

Dog puzzle and training

Kobis is an extremely agile and curious puppy who constantly needed activities. He was running, playing, leaning, breaking everything that stumbled under the paw – furniture, walls or even a window. Although Paulina was a lot of cobin, she quickly realized that she alone did not bother her.

Paulina directed Kobi’s energy through the edges not only for long walks, games, but also training.

« In order to get the dog out, we started to train our dogs and started training. As soon as the first teams start teaching, I am surprised at how quickly he absorbs them, how much joy it is given to the learning process himself.

Almost a hundred talent

Kobis quickly understood all the teams and tricks. As soon as he learned something, he quickly lost his interest in repeating the same thing – he was constantly eager for new challenges. As a result, the hosts had to turn their heads a lot about what more could be taught by this curious resident of the house.

Today, it is already difficult to count exactly how many teams and tricks are Kobi, but Paulina, who wonders a second, estimates that they should be at least 90. Kobis as a true dog actor is able to pretend to be dead, as well as social network star learned to make selfie, dance to the hosts.

Like most of our compatriots, the most favorite game is basketball. « He knows in which cabinet we keep his basketball arc, a ball and leads to it every day, waiting to ask for playing. In this situation, I usually succumb to his pressure, so he gets basketball almost daily, » P. Raziūnaitė reveals about his dog’s love for orange ball.

Not only the hostess, but also experienced cynologists helped to learn the tricks and teams of Kobis. For three months, he started attending lessons at the Nasra dog at Nasra. They are still attending workouts so far.

« Here we develop overall obedience skills, train dog dexterity in sports. When it comes to this sport, it is very important to train with a professional trainer not only for good results, but most importantly for the dog’s health and safety.

Our goal is to have fun, to give the cobin both physical and mental activities. And if we can brighten the day at the same time – why not share it?

Constantly come up with new tasks

Currently, Paulina and Kobis focus on the tasks of the dog’s dexterity, but the hostess is raising new ideas, so generations from time to time also teach new, fun tasks. She mentions she has a few new ideas she plans to implement in the near future, which will be the first to see the Kobi Instagram account @corgi_kobis fans.

When asked how long it takes to shoot video clips, Paulina says it depends on the situation.

« Sometimes I come up with an idea and try to implement it, and sometimes I just just shoot how we learn tricks or just have fun. Later, the idea comes from making a movie or a fun story. In fact, I have a lot of content that I am not shared because I do not sit down, » she smiles.

True, she remembers a case where it took a lot of time to create a record. This is a movie of the painting process. Paulina says the drawing session is going for quite a long time, and sometimes it takes two to three sessions for one picture. As a result, the video is very long, and eventually everything needs to be fitted with an Instagram post lasting 10-30 seconds.

« It’s not easy for me because I only have to show a small part of the whole process. I usually shoot myself, but at the same time I have to work with a cobwear to make the trick smooth. This causes challenges – you need to hold the camera at the same time. Raziūnaitė.

However, this special puppy is not only a mood for internet users, but also contributes to noble goals. Kobis, together with the dog training and sports club Nasra, has repeatedly participated in demonstration programs in kindergartens and day camps. He also entertained the children of Ukrainian families who had fled the war.

Did not even dreamed that he would become famous

Paulina did not plan to train Kobi that she would receive such much attention to growing up. The fact that her dog became a beloved of internet users happened spontaneously. Kaunas residents are already recognizing Kobis on the street.

« We are just doing what delights us, the cobin and generation from time to time we share it online. Our goal is to have fun, to give cobin both physical and mental activities. And if we can brighten the day and others – why not share it? » – asserts the interlocutor.

Kobi’s talents were interested not only in Lithuanian television, news portals, but also to foreign press. Paulin was most surprised that the news of her Corgish went to Brazil, a country like Hungary. Koby can also be seen on international portals such as Bored Panda, Woof Woof TV, Barked.

Wish to Kaunas

At the end of the conversation, Paulina is pleased that Kaunas is becoming increasingly friendly to animals. You can visit the supermarket, shops, cafes, libraries, etc. There are also plenty of beautifully landscaped parks.

“The public drinking water stops with a specially equipped fountain and pets are also very pleased. Such a stop would also be very useful in the Oak, where there are a lot of athletes, families with children and pets, so on a hot summer day, many would stop at such a stop, ”says Paulina from Kaunas.

However, the interlocutor does not hide that there is still a place to stretch Kaunas. She believes that public city transport should be more open to animals and can be freely transported by socialized, friendly pets.

“Currently, puppies in Lithuania can be trained, Kautra intercity buses, Vilnius public transport, but these opportunities are still limited in Kaunas. This opportunity would not only encourage you to travel more environmentally friendly, but often help veterinarians to reach pets whose hosts do not have the ability to take their own transport by using carriers or taxi services, ”says P. Raziūnaitė, who is raising a Welsh Korgis Kobis.
