New survey. Two presidential rivals approached
Presidential race close, at least in polls.
If elections were held next Sunday, 27% of Romanians would vote with the gold leader, George Simion, 26% would choose Crin Antonescu, supported by the PSD, PNL and UDMR, and 20% would prefer the independent candidate Nicuşor Dan, according to a national FlashData nationwide presented by the Observatory Antena 1.
Thus, George Simion and Crin Antonescu would be at this moment a difference in a percentage in the electorate options for the presidential elections, according to the latest Flashdata national poll, published on Monday. To The previous April 7 surveyElena Lasconi increased from 6% to 9% and Victor Ponta fell from 9% to 8%.
The Flashdata survey was conducted by an online questionnaire, between 10 and 12 April 2025, on a sample of 7,500 respondents, the adult population resident in Romania, aged 18 years and over. The type of sample is a probabilistic one, random and the margin of error: ± 3.5% at a level of 95%.
On the other hand, according to a course poll, George Simion would win the first presidential tour with a score of 26%, but at a greater distance from Antonescu.
