New protection measures against pimples. What will change?

Are you going to the zoo? There are new restrictions
With the safety of both visitors and animals, the Warsaw ZOO implements new procedures. Everyone who enters the garden must go through special disinfectant mats. The ban also applies to entering fenced areas, as well as direct contact with animals. There is no stroking or feeding.
The garden authorities emphasize that visitors should take special precautions, such as increasing the distance from animals and disinfection of tools or vehicles entering the zoo.
A pimples in Poland? The ministry calms down
The Minister of Agriculture, Czesław Siekierski, reassures, however, that in Poland there are no cases of pimples in Poland, and there are no new outbreaks in Slovakia and Hungary. Despite this, at the border crossings with the Czech Republic in Lower Silesia, as well as in other key points at the border, veterinary patrols monitoring animal transports sensitive to this disease were introduced.
Actions taken earlier, such as controls on the border with Germany, were a response to the detection of pimples at water buffaloes in Germany. In turn, in Hungary and Slovakia, the focus of the disease was confirmed, which prompted Slovakia to tighten control and temporarily closure of some smaller border crossings.
A dangerous disease for animals
The pimples are a viral disease. It poses a serious threat to parish -utilled, both breeding and wild. Fast virus transmission can lead to significant losses in agriculture, the economy and a risk for food safety. The last time in Poland pimples performed in 1971.
