New police rules add to the right to detention and arrest temporarily

The powers of the State Police are added. In the new Police Regulation that entered into force at the beginning of March by publishing in the Official Journal, police officers can stop you for five hours if there is evidence that you are endangering when there is an order to be forwarded to a rehabilitation center or one in another institution such as court appearance before court

Police officers will be entitled to escort, detention and arrest temporarily. The temporary police detention is carried out by informing the citizen of the reasons and is required to apply the citizen in question voluntarily. Otherwise the temporary police detention occurs with coercion.

In this innovation there is no exception to the juveniles that the family or guardian should be notified. According to the police law entered into force earlier and followed by the regulation in question it is stated that this procedure also occurs in cases the citizen refuses to be identified.
