« New people » invited the Russians to change imported clothes for domestic
The Party “New People” (NL), together with Russian entrepreneurs, held the action “Change to Russian” on April 3, in which residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk could exchange personal belongings of Western brands for domestic clothing. True, the citizens participating in the rally, according to the correspondent of Kommersant, seemed to have not noticed a particular difference between “ours” and “not ours” before.
Despite the distinct and undisguised similarity of the party event in one of the Moscow shopping centers with the Bulgakov “Black Magic Session”, it was not accompanied by the full or even partial exposure: the organizers did not disclose the amounts spent on the action. “This is a symbolic gesture,” the leader of NL Alexey Nechaev answered evasively to media questions. But the politician exposed the journalists themselves with ease. “A good T -shirt for you … Western? Well, of course! -He spread his hands as if he had not expected another from the turning up correspondent. “Get out, look for something for yourself.”
At first, to look after and was really that. The pavilion, which unfolded in front of three European boutiques, was hung with T -shirts, shirts, skirts and jackets.
Those who wanted to « change to Russian » were met by informed activists. “Trend of the season”, “wonderful to your trousers”, “not hot at all,” they purred.

Both the activists trusted him and the rest of the changers as themselves: the bags were placed in a small glass cube without any inspection, which filled to the top in a matter of minutes after the opening. “Will they deceive? Yes, and let it be, in the end, it will remain on the conscience of man, ”the organizers reasoned philosophically. Of course, no loss, they agreed, but « one thing is to deceive a person, another thing is a party. »
But the real transformation in the eyes of the amazed public had to wait. Only after half an hour, the “picture” was given by the reporters a heavy family man who neglected the dressing room. « He will take it off, and you will show it on the telik! » – his wife announced reporters. He did not let down and, having torn a sweater from his broad shoulders, put on a hipst T-shirt of a poisonous green color. “We support Russian,” the happy spouse assured everyone.
Visitors did not offer more intelligible answers and motivations. And these citizens, as it turned out, have not noticed objective differences between “our” and “not ours”.

For three years, “many managed to go this path,” he assured, and therefore there are no reasons to meet the “returners” with open arms among Russians, in general,. “What did they say there:“ Mission, we work for the good of the consumer ”? Yes, they spat on the consumer and left! – cut off the leader of NL. – Some also published appeals: they say, Russia is an aggressor. » And those who managed to finance the Armed Forces and are on the other side of the front, in Russia, there is nothing to do at all, the politician concluded.
But of course, they will not fail their own: with them fabrics, styles, and some kind of school, so that the Russians, unlike the spectators of the Woland’s show, will not remain naked, followed from the words of the party. “Well, it was imported magic.
