« New Germanic medicine »: Welpyed MIT – World

One pseudomedical movement finds more and more followers on social networks. The followers of « New Germanic medicine » reject science and conventional medicine. It can have fatal consequences.

When the Karo (name was changed), the child had a tooth, mother and stepfather did not lead her to the doctor. Instead, they would let her CD on which there was only one song. He was singing her a man with a monotonous voice. The song was called « Student » and it was supposed to help with a toothache.

He sang Rike Gerd Hamer, a former doctor and founder of movement called « New Germanic medicine ». Karo grew up in that movement, members of her family were Hamer’s fiery supporters, who died in 2017. But his idea lives. Followers spread its ideology through numerous telegrams channels. Two of these channels have about 50,000 members. « New Germanic medicine » is practiced primarily in the countries of the German speaking area, but also in the United States and India.

According to Rike Gerda Hamer, « New Germanic medicine » should not be any less than the revolution in medicine. A whole new way of understanding the disease. For each disease, it is said to stem from a psychological conflict. According to Hamer, you don’t have to do anything again. You just have to solve that conflict. The doctors are not needed, nor painkillers. No chemotherapy is required.

Without scientific justification

Rike Gerd Hamer founded the « new German medicine » in the early 1980s. He was a doctor, but his license for practicing medicine, meanwhile, was taken away. Hammer called his method « The Greatest Discover in Human History ». Multimesic research of journalists Bavarian public service Bayerisher Rundfunk show something else: « New Germanic medicine » is a dangerous pseudo-medicine. Many people who believed in that died. Several people told that their relatives were not treated by cancer because of the belief in Hamer ideology.

Experts warn « NEW GERMAN MEDICINE » as an alternative method of treatment. The German Cancer Anti-Celicity announced 2024. The statement states: « The so-called ‘new Germanic medical medicine, Mr. Hamer is theory based on biography and dreams of Mr. Hamer, without any scientific or empirical justification. » German Oncologist Jute Hubner also warns of that movement: « My colleagues and I are disgusting that the lives and confidence of our patients are treated in such a way. »

Anti-Semitic conspiracy theories

But it is not just rejection of science what is problematic for Hamer’s ideology. It is based on an anti-Semitic view of the world. Karo also felt in childhood. Her class planned excursion to the mention of one concentration camp, but Karo did not want to go. « Then I thought: Why should I go there, they’re all just kulise anyway, » says Karo today. Her family denied the Holocaust.

That attitude comes from Rickea Gerd Hamer himself. The founder of « New Germanic medicine » was convinced anti-Semite. In an interview for Bayeriše Rudnfunk 2010 said Jews practiced « New Germanic medicine » and deny the rest of the world population. He was 2013. In the video, he claimed: « The press belonged to a particular religious community and everything belongs to that religious community. Universities, banks simply everything. »

Hammer was convinced for the rest of his life that the Jewish people rule the world and keep important discoveries and inventions in secret from the rest of the population. It is an anti-Semitic narrative of conspiracy.

Contact « Main Rabba »

Hamer often spoke about the man called the main rabbi. He dedicated many of his anti-Semitic statements to that person. The man is called Ivan Gec. In 2008. Hammer invited him to his home. There, Ivan GEC was supposed to sign a document confirming Hamer’s myths directed against the Jews. Only Jewan Gec was not a Jew at all. He is anti-Semita, denies the Holocaust and a supporter is the movement of « Citizens of Reichs ». The journalists of the Panorama’s political TV magazine visited him in his house in Mecklenburg in 2023. years. « Hitler financed Jews, » GEC told them.

When Karo was 12, her mother got her breast cancer. Because she believed in « Nova German medicine, » she didn’t treat chemotherapy. Karo remembers that she often had to massage his mother to mitigate her pain. Dotle was playing a CD with the song « Student » CD. For Karina, the mother was the only treatment. She died after a long and severe illness. « If there was no ‘new Germanic medicine’, my mother would still be alive today, » Karo was convinced today.
