New form of adultery is gaining momentum

« Trust is crucial in a relationship and I felt betrayed, » she says to the Australian media news.com.au, after which she adds:

« He was literally in bed next to me looking at nude pictures of other women. It felt like he was unfaithful to me – and so was he. »

Maddi emphasizes that she didn’t mind if her boyfriend had taken the initiative to talk openly about her curiosity or suggested that they explore the content together. The problem for her lay in the hidden and conscious action.

« He said a friend had sent him a link, but I saw in his emails that he had created subscriptions himself-and it happened while we were together, » she says. « It was a clear breach of our boundaries. I would also never ask for nude pictures of his girlfriends – that’s exactly the same. »

Maddi’s story coincides with a new study from Australia that sheds light on this particular problem. Among 54,000 Australians surveyed, half said they clearly consider it adultery if their partner pays for content on only fans. Another 42 percent thought it depends on the type of interaction, especially if personal communication is taking place between subscriber and creator.

Only 8 percent of respondents considered it a « normal » part of a relationship.

The gender difference in perception is also significant: 61.3 percent of women believe it is adultery to subscribe to only fans, while 46.1 percent of men estimate it depends on the situation.

Maddi Miller believes that her work on Onlyfans is being misunderstood by many. It should be especially about men who mistakenly believe that her profession makes it acceptable to cross boundaries.

« It’s a job. It doesn’t mean my partner has carte blanche to do what he wants, » she says.
