There is a growing number of videos when promoting the so -called meat diet offers to stop eating vegetables and other plant products.
The initiators of such a diet say that this diet may help to get rid of unnecessary kilograms. The doctor doubts it greatly.
“The excess we get with protein foods is overloaded with renal function. Urinary and kidney cleansing functions are vulnerable, ”said Jūratė Dobrovolskienė, a nutritionist.
A nutritionist emphasizes that eating animal food alone only develops complex diseases in less than one year.

“They lose the ability to naturally get B vitamins, various other substances. Among them – if we are talking about full -fledged proteins, which are crucial for children. The full -fledged amino acids are still in animal food, ”said A. Korbutė.

Meat -abandoned people are aware of the knowledge of how to enrich their nutrition and the nutrition of their children with the necessary substances.
“My child is a vegetarian from birth – three years old. I have been a vegetarian for many years, my other children are also vegetarians. Teens can be vegetarians, vegans, ”explained Kislovski.
The nutritionist has seen cases where children who do not get meat find themselves in hospitals, but if parents have enough knowledge, children do not have health problems.
But the professor emphasizes that a healthy lifestyle is not just about food.
« Brand new evidence, a new wave in modern medicine – that our health depends on the feeling of happiness, positivity and the joy of life, » said Albertas Skurvydas, a professor at Vilnius University.
The professor estimates that a healthy lifestyle consists of about 20 more components: stress reduction, at least seven hours of sleep, sauna and sports at least three times a week.
