New destination for The Jane in Antwerp: former star restaurant becomes Sportstudio (Antwerp)
Good news for Pilates and fitness enthusiasts in Antwerp. Soon the chapel of the Groen Kwartier, where the Jane was located until March this year, will have a new interpretation. No more Burgundian meals and adapted wines, but pilates, fitness, ice cream baths and saunas.
It is Rite Studios, an emerging chain of boutique fitness studios that has an agreement with the owner of the chapel to convert them into their latest studio. In the basement space, which is currently still full of kitchen material and cooling cells, there will be a studio for Reformer Pilates and a recovery room with ice cream baths and infrared saunas.

In the chapel, the company will install power and cardio devices to complete the fitness experience, with respect for the historical elements of the building. The studio would open its doors in December 2025.

Rite Studios currently has two studios in Antwerp and one in Brasschaat. In addition, the chain has also recently been expanded to Ghent, where in the meantime a second studio is planned. Next year, in addition to ‘Rite Chapel’, three new locations in Antwerp and the Genste will be added. The chain has around 10,000 members.
