New Crusade against « populism » – the recipe for « counterattack »

The same word was found on the prime ministerial lips three times in the last two weeks, in front of different audiences: « The voices of populism are always cracked, it is easy to promise to solve them all » was told to citizens – supporters of the ND – in Megara.

A few hours ago, there was a reference to a « unbearable criminal populism, which will sink the country through a backlash from which we will not be able to come out » for the Tempe tragedy. And from Berlin there was a message to the inside that « we should not be complacent because the ghosts of populism are everywhere in Europe and the dangers are real. »

In the ongoing government’s counterattack, the front against populism, as she wants to show that she has a central position.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis returns to a substantially tested political tactic: in a daily wink in conservative and central audiences – those that Maximus characterizes as « common sense » that invest in the right reason and who were in the focus on his 20th. The « counterattack » recipe
