New Boulevard, an extraordinary city space with a super project

Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, through a post on social media, has brought attention to the situation to the former pre-investment train station for the construction of the new boulevard. He says that those who were in office earlier had only one table settled. Veliaj adds that the 4 years were recovered in vain from sleep and was able to transform an extraordinary city space with a super project.

Mayor Veliaj says that today it is understood how necessary the extension of Tirana to the new boulevard was and how important the decision was to develop this area of ​​the city, planning to build there the offices of the Tirana Municipality, museum or concert halls.

« I remember the day we started work for the new boulevard and at its entrance, to the former train station, we found only one table. In 4 years, those before us were in office, so much so they had done: they had stuck a table.
8 years later, after a daily work, done with dedication and passion, not only recovered the 4 years lost in vain from sleep, we managed to transform an extraordinary city space with a super project, which has now created the axis of what will be called Tirana of the future tomorrow. For some time in this area, New Tirana, Fin-Tech, with businesses, offices, important institutions and banks, which are being located on the new boulevard, has been being built in the area, as the most complicating areas to invest.
Today we are realizing how necessary the extension of Tirana to the new boulevard and how important the decision was to develop this area of ​​the city, especially by planning to build there the offices of the Tirana Municipality, museum or concert halls, as a way to give it even more lives.
I have nothing to do with the pleasure that with the help of the Qatar Fund, at the end of the boulevard we will have a bottom square, another super project for citizens, which will be the Jewel of Tirana for the next 100 years, ”writes Veliaj.
