New Book of Trajce Kacarov Promoted: « Roman for Charlie Ophthik

The new book of the famous Macedonian writer Trajce Kacarov « , » Roman for Charlie Ophhm -The Turacler « , published by » Panili « , was promoted today at the Matica Bookstore in downtown Skopje.

According to the author it is a « humorous novel about the cinema, as a holiday that follows the modern man. The cinema as an incubator of emotional steres and reactions most often crushed through the shouts: » Auuua! Anthology of the events in the cinema and outside it organized by the protagonists in the novel Charlie Ophthik – the pusher of other people and his own misconceptions and the lawyer Doctor of Law Alexei Miro. The novel allows you to read, and see it. « 

The book was spoken by the writer Hristo Petreski and director Bojan Trifunovski.

– The novel is satire of the modern social situation, filled with contrasts and shades, such as the rise of the expertise and weakness of human nature. The author examines the meaning of success and failure, of movements and travel of the characters and the world that each of us pushes, even when it is impossible to move on.

« Charlie Ophthik – the pusher » is a novel that will make the reader ask whether he lives in a world of illusions, or in a deep reality that he never knew and realized enough. The storyteller Trajce Kacarov manages to (IS) combines philosophical dilemmas with humor, and the novel as a whole causes us to ask ourselves: What makes us people and where our personal anonagonisms, struggles, and even wars end up? The novel « Ophthik », as its title itself denotes and associates, is absurd and cruel, but at the same time brings some tragic poetism and comical optimism – said the promoter Hristo Petreski, among other things.

Director Bojan Trifunovski noted that Kacarov is a rare writer who all these years, as Sisyphus, is dragging his creative and persistently, trying to leave a mark on what he perceives through his books. According to him, the « Charlie Ophthika -The Tour » is like a movie script or a theater performance that takes place in the eyes of the reader.

Speaking of the latest work, Kacarov said that, as an engaged writer, as before, he seeks to immortalize the time in which he lives and focuses on the present.

Hristo Petreski, meanwhile, emphasized that the novel is « a postmodern, metaphorical story that at first glance may seem like a confusion of a confused lawyer, but under the surface is a layered, deep philosophical novel about identity, boundaries of reality and meaning of life ».

Trajce Kacarov is a Macedonian poet, storyteller, essayist and playwright. In the last ten years, children and young books are also published, which have been well received by young readers. Graduated from the Academy of Film and Theater in Sofia, Bulgaria. He received his master’s degree at the Institute of Macedonian Literature at the University « Cv. Cyril and Methodius » in Skopje. Works as a playwright at the National Theater in Stip. In 1993, I was an art magazine. He has been a member of the 1991 Macedonian Writers Association. His works have been translated into several languages, and his theater plays have been played through several theaters in the region and beyond.

He has won several recognitions in the field of literature.
