Never Freedom again
History is constantly repeating. Even on each anniversary of the horrors of war, the on -duty horrors of attention are puzzled by the fact that they publicly express their own opinion, even though it is essentially an empty phrase. « Never again, » we can listen again these days in all corners and places when it comes to the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. With such and similar words, people who are allowed by citizens to engage in politics. Not only that, we even elect them to begin to limit our freedom, then they gradually shorten all possible rights and impose their own ideological views, organize historical facts, impair the quality of life at all levels, and, through their behavior, words and moves, shame the dignity of the individual and the nation, and shrink democratic values. We have already realized that freedom is no longer existing.
« Never again, » free -spirited and without a bad conscience are the right -wingers who openly support Israel in performing genocide over the Palestinians and a dangerous white house clown. « Never again, » they are cheerfully asserted by politicians who are sinister silent with the horrific massacres of the civilian population in Gaza. « Never again, » hysterically repeat the representatives of the authorities who pronounce themselves on their own helplessness and tied hands, because they decide everything in Brussels, and on behalf of the united EU, they need to be involved in the collective hypocrisy and cowardice of Europe. « Never again, » many media, which are meticulously and cold -blooded reports on war criminals without a touch of questioning about where humanity has disappeared.
In fear, post -fascism and neo -Nazism boast. In fear, Europe is arming. History teaches us what it means when Germany is boundlessly arming, and on the other hand, Russia does the same. Therefore, history is repeated, but for starters, at least on our home soil, we can still scream « never again » without being flushed with a tear gas and arrested. We scream as long as we still have food and at least seemingly free.
