Netanyahu arrives in Hungary Despite the arrest warrant / day

« Welcome to Budapest, Benjamin Netanyahu! » On the social media platform, Facebook was recorded by Hungarian Defense Minister Kristoph Salajs-Bobrovnicki, who welcomed Netanyahu at Budapest Airport early in the morning.

Netanyahu has come to the invitation of Hungary Prime Minister Victor Orban.

He has talks with Orban, and a joint press conference is expected at around 12:30 pm (Latvian time).

Orban handed over the invitation to Netanyahu in November last year, the day after the arrest of the SKT arrest.

The Hungarian Prime Minister promised that his country would not fulfill this warrant, although there was a Member State. Orban announced that this decision of the SKT « intervenes in the ongoing conflict (…) because of political goals ».

The Hague -based SKT emphasized that its decisions were the « legal obligation » and « responsibility to other countries involved » in Hungary.

On November 21, SKT issued warrants Netanyahu, Israeli Defense Minister Joava Galanta and Palestinian terrorist group « Hamas » to arrest Mohammed Deiff, the military leader of Mohammed, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity. The accusations are related to the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 and the subsequent Israeli war against the Hamas Gaza Strip.
