NEPLP denies access to nine Russian propaganda -spread portals / day

The statement explains that the Council has received a letter from another competent public administration, which provides information on the website « Kanevskadm.ru », « Контракт23.рф », « Korvesti.ru », « Vostokmedia.com », « SPASSKMR.r.r.r.r.r.ru »,  » « Ulanmedia.ru » content test.

It has been found that the content distributed there is contrary to the interests of the security and national security of Latvia. They distribute the content aimed at justifying and supporting war crimes committed by the Russian War in Ukraine and Russia’s war crimes.

According to the Council, eight of these websites raise attention to Russia’s understanding of the Second World Wars to strengthen the Second Wars, focusing on the highlight of the military achievements of the Soviet army and the glorification of the Soviet Army soldiers. In this context, special attention has been paid to the 80th anniversary of the Second World War on May 9 this year. The evaluation of the « Контракт23 » website shows that it serves as a special platform for recruiting soldiers in Krasnodara County, Russian -launched war in Ukraine.

Similar decisions on restricting access to Russian propaganda portals have also made NEPLP in advance.
