Neither Diana nor Kate – Rumors of … New Royal Civil War
Kate Middleton was not honored in the post of Buckingham Palace for International Women's Day.
On March 8, and on the occasion of women's rights, the official account of the royal family on Instagram honored a series of Windsor women with portraits by female photographers.
« Today, for World Woman Day, we present the long support of the royal family to female photographers, dating from the arrival of photography in the mid -1800s, » the caption said.
The Carousel is complemented by the royal portraits of Elizabeth II, Camilla, Victoria, Alexandra and Princess Anna and the Duchess of Edinburgh.
Neither Diana nor Kate
There were two loud absences. One was by Princess Dainana, the other of Kate Middleton.
If the former can be justified (the divorce of Charles and Diana has tested the reputation of the current king and his public image), the second left questions.
The omission was commented on by the internet.
« Wow, nothing about the princess of Wales? », « With all the respect, I think the princess of Wales should be on this list. She is also a great photographer and has been photographed by women, such as @milliepilkingtonphotography, ”users wrote.
However, as another user pointed out, Mitleton's absence may be explained by the fact that the prince and the princess of Wales have their own official account.
« Yes, the Welsh princess has also been photographed by female photographers, but this may also be due to the fact that the royal family's account does not usually cover (the prince and) the princess of Wales as they have their own account, » commented a user.
