Neighbors and no success this year at the Eurovision Song Contest: Neither Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia go to the finals …
The second Eurosong semi -final evening is over and it is now known who all finalists are this year. On Thursday night, 10 more performers passed, namely Lithuania, Israel, Armenia, Denmark, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Latvia, Malta and Greece.
In the second semifinals, the Prince, Serbian representative and Nina Zizic, a representative of Montenegro, also competed. Zizic, together with the Croatian representative Mark Bosniak, had very little chance at the Eurovision bookmakers. They were in the last and penultimate place with less than 1 percent of the chance to win.
Even Zizic with the song ‘Welcome’, nor the prince with the song ‘Mila’ could not qualify for the finals this Saturday tonight. Also, Croatian representative Marko Bošnjak with the song ‘Poison Cake’ or Klemen, a representative of Slovenia, with the song ‘How Much Time to We Have Left’ did not receive enough audience votes in the first semi -finals to get into the finals.
Norway, Albania, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal and Ukraine are in the finals from the first semi -finals.
In addition to these 20 performers, 10 each semi -final evening, those performers will feature in the finals that the audience has already had the opportunity to hear these days, but have a direct placement. It is a host country, which is Switzerland this year, as well as Member States ‘Big 5’, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain and Italy.
