Are you a Modern Girl? Rituals and Nowness is trying to look beyond the invisible aspects in which rituals are present, writes in its presentation. Including photography, video, sculpture and performance, the exhibition presents different perspectives on the disappearance, transformation and resilience of rituals in modern society. The starting point for this reading is the connection between the new models of communication, the forms of labor and the economic structures that lead to anxiety and alienation, and the rituals can be a potential means of « creating a home ».

To explore the inseparable connection between the spaces that people inhabit and their bodies are characteristic of the work of the Bulgarian artist Veronica Desova. In his photographs he uses a slow and double exposure, blurry and various other methods of distorting the image, focusing on the ephemeral aspects of the human body in motion, nature and light.

Gerry Georgieva, on the other hand, uses video, performance and multimedia installations for performative improvisations in front of a camera to explore ambiguous cultural language, often rooted in pop music, show business and traditional folklore heritage.
